Marshall Centre Introduce Free Business Clinics to Break Down Barriers to Growth

Building on the experience of developing future talent for more than 100 years, Marshall Centre is the home of lifelong learning and growth. Part of the privately-owned Marshall of Cambridge, Marshall Centre future-proofs organisations through apprenticeship development and upskilling of existing workforces whilst helping companies ‘stay ahead of the curve’ through continuous growth.

In February 2020, Marshall Centre became a Main Provider, which meant that for the first time in its 100-year history, they could start offering their world-class training to organisations outside of the Marshall Group. As a business, they went through a restructure to ensure that they created a future-proof, resilient, and agile business. Like implementing any new initiative that requires significant change, the leadership team learned some important lessons along the way; they are now confident that they have laid the foundations and established appropriate governance to ensure business growth for the next 100 years and beyond.

Marshall Centre now wants to do their part to support innovation and growth within their wider business community. They will soon be launching free bi-weekly business clinics for leaders who want to tackle their barriers to growth. This often requires creative problem solving and this can be difficult to do when teams spend too much time working on a problem in silos. One way to supercharge creativity and innovation is to bring a diverse group of professionals together to work collectively on solving barriers to growth. Introducing an outside perspective will unlock new and better ways of approaching a problem.

In time, Marshall Centre would like to invite you to join us in person at our beautiful Cambridge office, Green House Farm (Covid restrictions permitting) for a few hours of creative problem solving every two weeks. Business can join us to expand their network and discuss your barriers for growth, to ensure that you leave every session with a wealth of ideas and inspiration to implement. Thesesessions will be facilitated by our head of strategy, Tim Britt, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in this arena.

As we are running these sessions bi-weekly, we can help your business reflect on its progress and continue to stay on track. We hope that businesses will take us up on our invitation to come along and support each other and continue making Cambridge a hub for business growth and innovation in the UK. Whether the pandemic has impacted your business, you’re just starting out or struggling to cope with the pace of change due to digitisation, and no problem is too big or too small for our HiveMind.

Our clinic is open to all businesses, so feel free to share this news with your networks. Transform your business from a good place to work to a great place to innovate!
